THE ATTENDEES...

WHO ATTENDS?
A wide variety of attendees including professionals from physical education, health, fitness, music, and dance along with early childhood and middle grade classroom teachers as well as after school and child care providers are attracted to the conference each year. One reason for the success of "Share the Wealth" is that it is an activity-based, hands-on conference. The people who attend come and "share their wealth" of information with other attendees. The presentations are varied, but all have a direct impact on how to improve physical education programs for the field practitioner, whether beginner or seasoned veteran.

THE PRESENTERS...

Presenters
Individuals from all over the United States and several foreign countries attend each year to make presentations. Presenters at the STW conference have included: Don Puckett (P.E. Productions), Winston-Salem, North Carolina; Sandy "Spin" Slade; Ambrose Brazelton, Columbus, Ohio; Mark "The Rock" Rothstein ("World of Rope Jumping"), Atlanta, Georgia; Shirley Holt-Hale

Power. The bulk of the presenters, though, are practitioners in public and private schools who have found games, activities, or techniques that work for them, and they come to "share the wealth" with the rest of us!  Don't you want to be a part of this?  It is so easy to register for the conference on this site and to fill out a call for papers form so you can share your wealth with the rest of us.  Please remember... program slots have gone really fast the past few years so if you are interested in presenting GET YOUR CALL FOR PAPERS FORM IN SOON in order to have a better chance at a program time!

The Convention Site...

Jekyll Island, Georgia

The conference is held each year at the Convention Center on beautiful and historic Jekyll Island, Georgia. Jekyll Island lies just six miles off the mainland of southeast Georgia; yet once you cross the causeway, you arrive on an island where time slows so you can enjoy every minute to the fullest. The year round temperate climate makes Jekyll Island a virtual paradise. There are daily tours of the National Historic Landmark Jekyll Island Club, four golf courses, miniature golf, fishing, tennis, miles of beach, biking and jogging trails, Island shopping, wonderful seafood restaurants, and much more!
