As a public school English teacher in Georgia, Rebecca has been asked to help the valedictorian write her speech for graduation. The valedictorian had included a prayer in the speech. Rebecca orders the student to delete the prayer from the address.

 

 

Jim is a public school teacher. Every Wednesday morning, he joins students for prayer around the flagpole. The group meets and prays from 7:30 am to 8:00 am.

 

 

Abby leaves a Bible on her desk during class where her students can see it as they approach her desk.

 

 

April is notified by her principal that she is being summarily dismissed due to accusations made by a student. The principal refuses to divulge the nature of the accusations and refuses April’s request for a hearing.

 

 

Greer is the advisor for a journalism class that includes a closed-circuit TV station. The principal demands that Greer allow her  to review the scripts for the shows and often insists that Greer make editorial changes in the broadcast material.

 

 

Kim is summoned from class by the principal. He informs Kim that, based on information provided by a student, he has had her car searched by the school resource officer.

 

 

As principal, Ashley suspects that there maybe a drug problem at her school (although there is no hard evidence to suggest widespread drug abuse). She then orders drug testing of the entire student body.
