This section contains examples of different families of tools that can be used to increase, maintain, or improve the functional capabilities of students with disabilities and support their attainment of educational goals. These tools are selected examples of the vast continuum of lowest to highest technologies that may be considered assistive technology for students who require those items to participate in educational activities and make educational progress.
