Please check this site prior to the first day of classes for information about your online course. I will post information here to help you get started.
You have to register for online courses the same way as for any other courses.

You need to know your VSU e-mail address. 

For all online courses you need to have frequent access to the computer with an internet connection, Microsoft Office (not Microsoft Works or/and Word Perfect), QuickTime player, (www.quicktime.com-free), window media player, Adobe Acrobat Reader, enabled pop up blocker in your browser and the correct version of browser and Java (see the recommended browser versions and Java version on the BlazeView login page).

It is a good idea to set up your computer by the requirements on the BlazeView home page and use the same computer whole semester.

 


 SPRING 2012:

You will be able to access all my BlazeView classes from VSU home page on January 9, 2012:

Before you can access the class on the BlazeView you have to be registered.

The KSPE 2000 classes IA and IB are online classes. We will not meet during the semester.

The KSPE 2150 IA class is online class; however, it has to meet on Saturday, March 31, 2012 from 10:00am till 3:00pm to do the CPR and First Aid practicum in the College of Education, room #2135. Everybody who want to pass the class has to attend this class session.

FALL 2012

The First Aid and CPR classes section IA has to meet on October 8, 2011, and section IB on October 9, 2011, from 10:00am-5:00pm in the College of Education, room #221. 
The first part of the meeting, you will practice the skills and the second part of the meeting, you will be tested on CPR and First Aid (splinting). This practicum is 20% from your grade (see syllabus).
Everybody who want to pass the class has to be present on one of these practicum.

The PERS 2430 IA class is entirely on the BlazeView. We will not meet during the semester.

The book for this class is constructed from many books. It is an e-book (online) and the instructions how to get the book are below. I choose this option for you because it is a lot cheaper for you and in addition you can print the book, get to it from anywhere where is internet connection, download it to your mobile device, and or downloaded it to your computer. Officially, you can downloaded to two computers and two mobile devises.

Steps how to get the book:
1. Click on the link to open the .pdf file
2. Print the file
3. Follow the instruction. You will need credit card number. If you have any problems on the bottom of the page is support telephone number.

SUMMER - MAY semester 2011

KSPE 2000 Health and Wellness, section IA, and IB will be available for students to access from VSU home page the first day of class May 12, 2011.
Before you can access the class on the Web you have to be registered.

The above classes are entirely on the Web. The semester is only three weeks long, therefore, you need to be present in the BlazeView class shell by the second day of the class. If you don't send me an e-mail from the BlazeView shell by the second day of the class I will denied your access to the BlazeView shell and you need to drop the class. To get to the BlazeView shell:

1. Just click on the BlazeView link at the VSU home page.

2. Check the basic requirements and the set up for the computer you want to use in the class on the BlazeView home page. There will be no time to set up your computer during the semester. You need to be done with it by the second day of the class.

3.Then sign in and follow the direction.
