Purpose of the Lesson
The purpose of this lesson is to prepare students to effectively use a systematic approach to curriculum assessment.  Major components of this lesson include the development of an assessment framework, an assessment plan, and the evaluation of curricular materials.

It is critical that you read the assigned chapters and complete any prerequisite readings prior to completing the assignments or exam question(s) for this lesson.

Identify a commercially prepared curriculum material for evaluation (See Progressive Exam Question Six).  This can be a text/student manual, software, video, or other item.
